NOTICE OF WATER OUTAGE

All customers on City of White Salmon water will be without water from 8:00 PM to approximately 5:00 AM on Monday evening July 11, 2011. The contractor for the Loop Road Waterline Replacement Project will cut the old 14 inch line and make the connection to the new mainline. Pucker Huddle customers will be without water during that time. All other customers will be using water from the city reservoirs. Please conserve! Questions may be directed to city hall at 509-493-1133.

A sink hole in the south lane of Dock Grade Road is sinking at a rate of 1/16 inch per day. The matter was before the city council at their July 6th meeting to hire an engineering consultant to determine the cause of the sinkhole. No action was taken that evening. Additional information was reqested and will be on the July 20th council meeting for discussion and action.
Dock Grade Road will remain closed until further determination of its safety.
