The White Salmon Planning Committee will present their draft recommendations for a 2012 update of the White Salmon Comprehensive Plan in a public workshop session with the White Salmon City Council. All interested parties are welcome to attend and provide feedback to the Council prior to Council's decision regarding approval, scheduled for their 2nd November meeting on Nov. 15.

All interested area residents are invited to attend a public hearing of White Salmon's Comprehensive Plan first update since it's adoption in 1991. The hearing begins at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the White Salmon Fire Hall, 119 NE Church Ave. White Salmon's five Planning Commissioners will review the proposed plan and its land-use regulations, and take public testimony before moving into deliberations on a decision.

There will be a public hearing on Dec. 12th at 5:30 with the Planning Commission, and another one on Dec. 19th at 6pm with City Council to discuss some questions that arose about Commercial Zoning at the last council meeting. The hearing will only be around Section 17.48 of the code and the revisions that were suggested. Any and all interested citizens are invited to attend and to offer constructive input.
