How does it work?

The NEW online portal allows a variety of building and development projects to be submitted entirely online from the comfort of your own home or office.

 

The portal is a user-friendly and more efficient, and expedient for everyone.

We are here to help with any questions you may have and we are excited to walk you through a brief introduction of our new system.

 

You can access the portal through the city’s website which is whitesalmonwa.gov or bookmarking ci-whitesalmon-wa.smartgovcommunity.com/Public/Home

  1. Create an account by clicking the sign-up link at the top of the portal page.
  2. You'll receive an email to verify your account (please be sure to complete this step as you will be unable to submit applications without doing so) to submit an application or request for information.

 

You will be able to submit many types of projects for review all from one place: From a simple mechanical permit to a subdivision application submission.

The online portal accepts PDF file types up to 200 megabytes. Two hard copies of the building/remodel plans are still required to be mailed or dropped off at City Hall.

Additionally, the online portal allows you to pay for a project directly online, request and view in field inspections, download and print documents and monitor the overall status of your applications throughout the life cycle of the project.

 

The City’s online portal will be your one stop shop from the start of your application to the completion of your project.
