Dogs

In accordance with city regulations, all dogs aged six months or older residing within the City of White Salmon must be licensed. Licenses can be conveniently obtained at White Salmon City Hall for a nominal fee. At the time of application, owners must present a rabies vaccination certificate for their dog, plus proof of spaying/neutering, if applicable.

While enjoying the sights and sounds of White Salmon, please ensure your furry companions are leashed at all times, including within our parks. Off-leash activities are permitted only on the owner's property.

Furthermore, while occasional barking is natural, continuous disturbances can be disruptive to our community. We urge pet owners to be mindful of their pets' behavior and considerate of their neighbors' peace.

For more detailed information, you can refer to the city ordinance available at White Salmon Title 6 - Animals

If you no longer have the animal(s) registered or have any questions regarding the renewal process, please email Utility Clerk Troy Rosenburg at Utilityclerk@whitesalmonwa.gov or call City Hall at (509) 493-1133.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community safe and compliant with animal licensing regulations.
